Adam Killian is one of those people that I find infinitely entertaining for so many reasons… personally of course because I like to think we have a cool bond or mutual admiration that’s built up over the years. Certainly that’s how I feel about him. But professionally my respect doubles and triples because: he’s a one of a kind tour de force that cannot be replicated or duplicated. I can always count on him to ‘wow’ me!

The final day of production during ‘Fahrenheit’ is a prime example. We were scheduled to shoot this scene on the convertible. So much had already happened… days earlier we had been visited by the police with noise complaints at the first location; that moved all production indoors… For an outdoor movie? Terrible luck. Then a model had dropped out, gone M.I.A. during the final days shooting. Adam Killian was asked to stay behind and do a second scene to ‘fill in’ for the missing top. A full sex scene was originally cast as the grande finale, then that morning Adam’s bottom bailed out too. But he saved the day by shooting this solo. I expected nothing major but I commended Adam’s willingness to first rearrange his schedule for us and then to keep in high spirits amidst huge disappointment. Most models would be defeated at this point or be thinking about the financial bottom line. Few would be concerned on how to save the movie. Except Adam… he brought a performance so special it goes down in my book as what could be the most exciting footage I’ve shot to date. All models can take a page from Adam’s ability to turn it out in the face of adversity… and subsequently steal the show!!!
