2012 is turning itself into an interesting year, hard to believe its half over— just about.
Of course we kicked off with a monstrous amount of work feeding the porn machine. In the last few years piracy has really taken its bite. But rather than bitch and turn into an unhappy person I decided to do something about it and defend my dream! Here’s the reality for the fans of gay porn. When profits fall, to survive, production budgets have to cut back. When the producer is forced to lower scene rates, its the boys who put their asses on the line, your stars, that have the hardest time of all. If you are a fan that sees no harm in swiping a scene every now and then, I want you to think about the reality I’m sharing with you. Back to the fun!
In April, Bruno and I took a huge break. Had a nice European vacation. No porn.
If you haven’t been to Slovenia you should consider it. Rolling green hills, perfect ice blue streams, no pollution. Its was an amazing restorative way to spend Bruno’s birthday. Check out Klavze 28, for a quiet peaceful retreat.
In May we went to Grabby’s. It was one of the better years. Chi Chi, Adam Killian and Tom Wolfe were genuinely entertaining, good show. It was a happy event. Aspen 6 picked up a few awards which was nice. The Grabby’s folks honored me with a special award, the Wall of Fame. I’m as shocked as I was honored because I feel I am just getting started… for those who were at the awards: Yes I was really in the bathroom when they announced it. Blame Lawson Kane, I got dicktimized at the urinal. If it wasn’t for Trenton Ducati calling me out… I barely made it on stage. I thought he was pulling my leg. It really was Mr. Pam’s year though. And after seeing Assassin one could see why. I was so inspired by her spirit. She’s truly living her dreams and the happiness just flows from her spirit. Its a joy to see. Good on you girl!

I’ve been fascinated with gays with iPhones lately. The shirtless daily post on Facebook, I’m sure you have a friend or two that does this. Its the new Polaroid. I wanted to have fun with the concept so I posted my own and it got approved. Loving this parody: ‘I’m hot, let’s hook up!‘
This month we just wrapped on a huge project shot in Sonoma County. Bruno filmed a Jocks feature, I filmed a high profile Falcon double feature. A beautiful all sex, starring Paddy O’Brian. One of the highlights of my trip …being honored to film Trenton Ducati and his new love Tate Ryder. They wanted to document the love they share for each other in a scene. How cool is that? I hope I remember it as one of the most significant moments I ever filmed. How often do men in love do a scene together? They were very generous to share that very tender, real thing with us all. I was lucky to be there with a camera. Love you boys.
A huge spirit in our lives passing a few days ago— makes you reflect on the special moments along the way. It also calls out that our time here is finite. You have to fill your life with meaning. For me the workaholic, I need to fill my life with more fun.
You have to make your days and hours special even though most of us are just plugging along surviving. Life is a precious gift. This moment is all we have.
So live, love and embrace every moment. This is your only real call of duty: LIVE BITCHES!
I’m gonna blink now, I’m sure after I do it will be Christmas.

Steve: Why didn’t Falcon, or any of the major studios do anything to help Erik Rhodes ?? Clearly, he let it be known that he was in major distress for many years.
